Meet the Team

Justin Heimer

Justin Heimer is widely recognized as a leading adoption attorney in Arkansas. He is the youngest attorney in Arkansas to be a inducted as a fellow in the prestigious American Academy of Adoption Attorneys.  His education is from a top law school (Indiana University, go Hoosiers). He is also trained in family systems with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Justin’s training as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselor allows him to assist families through the multifaceted process of an Arkansas adoption. He has been married for 15 years, has three awesome kids, and dedicates much of his free time to serving ministries that work with kids — and specifically helping families in his church that are working though adoptions. While assistants may handle some aspects of your case, Justin will be intimately involved and is available when you need him.

Fun trivia: Justin loves collecting watches, traveling, flying airplanes, and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

Meloni

Meloni Lee is our Director of Client Care, working to support our clients throughout their adoption journey from intake to finalization.  She is the main point of contact between our matched families and partner agencies, working closely with Justin and Desiree as our clients progress toward finalization.  She is uniquely gifted to truly understand each family’s journey as an adult TRA (transracial adoptee) and an adoptive mother. Meloni’s professional background includes progressive roles in finance, law, and in an adoption agency in the Pacific Northwest.

Fun trivia: Meloni grew up in Alaska, loves iced coffee, mountains and the Seattle Seahawks.
